Entomology

Research on the control of mosquito larvae of various vector species is a major contribution by the Investigator. Larval control using plant extracts, fishes and invertebrates are the significant initiative in the field of entomology. The new tool development for the identification of wing shape analysis using truss network was carried out by the Investigator. The mapping of mosquito habitats using remote sensing and GIS and also identification of mosquito species using CNN.
